I'm a writer ofclear, useful words

I’m an Australian freelance copywriter and content writer with over a decade of experience delivering meaningful writing. I’ve worked in advertising and digital agencies and have written for a colourful array of household names, as well as small businesses and not-for-profit organisations.

My work's featured in award-winning campaigns including category winners in the SEMrush AU Search Awards. I originally studied Creative Advertising and Design and haven't stopped learning since. I'm obsessed with the ways algorithms, search behaviours and internet users evolve.

Long story short: I've put in the marketing miles and I'm on the ball when it comes to best practice copywriting. And that all benefits your brand.

Experience

Who I've written for

When I say a colourful array, I'm not kidding!Clients have included Foodbank, Amazon, St John WA, the City of Fremantle, Satterley, Crown Group and DeakinCo, as well as small businesses and not-for-profit organisations.

I’ve written for home builders, jewellery, accountants, real estate developments, and the biggest retail site on the planet.

On the more obscure side I've also written about cemetery management software, electric golf carts, and equine fertility (you'd be amazed).

I’d love to write about your business too.

Here are just some of the areas I can help with:

I've written extensively about the modern workplace, the future of work and how to nurture engaged, flourishing teams.

Writing for all things B2B including legal, financial and management consulting.

I've written regular aged care guides and articles for years. I love helping to provide clear, genuinely helpful information for older Aussies and their families.

I've worked with prominent NFPs including Australia's biggest food bank charity and St John WA.

I can help with compelling benefit-driven software descriptions, UX writing and clear technical documentation, as I have for Elcom, JobAdder and more.

I've created copy for websites, signage, print media and more for a range of real estate developments, including luxury developments. Clients have included Crown Group, Meriton, Satterley and Mirvac.

I've written in-depth articles about Australia's car industry for several years, from the fascinating world of car colours to the state of the industry.

Having spent a large part of my life on a wheat and sheep farm I understand the unique challenges and tribulations farmers face, and I'm passionate about supporting this industry.

I've written seller guides for Amazon Australia and Singapore, and have written insights for the primary global industry association focused on retail marketing. I also love writing for product descriptions and category/collection pages.

INDUSTRIES

Who I help with long-form copywriting

I love diving deep into different industries, and there are a few that I write about again and again. I write for B2B, B2C and NFPs, and I understand how different and thoughtful the approach needs to be for each of these.

Please get in touch if you’d like to see anything specific in terms of industry or format.

I’ve worked with many clients in my freelance capacity, so can probably provide relevant examples!

Right for you?

Whatever your industry, I'm a great fit if:

  • You want to build trust with your target audience.
  • You want to solve problems for your target audience.
  • What you deliver is tricky to describe or involves a lot of detail.
  • You're looking to build up an asset bank of high-quality long-form content or guides.
  • You need an Australian freelance copywriter whose writing resonates with people and with search engines.

What I'm like to work with:

  • I'm easy to reach, proactive and reliable.
  • I meet deadlines. No matter what.
  • I care about providing a great result. A whole lot. I can't help it!

human human human

I’m all about writing content that feels helpful, insightful and deeply human.

Because algorithms come and go, but being human is consistently on point.

I absolutely optimise for search engines, but I've also seen the rules change a lot over 10+ years.

If there is one golden rule, it's that:

Well-written, useful content endures.
