I just have to share this brilliant concept by Petar Zaharinov from over at TapeFlips. His design consists of a set of cardboard panels which can be taped together to flex into an incredible series of chairs, beds, tables, boxes, bags and just about anything else you can think of.

Having recently moved to a new area, I think this could be an ideal product both for temporary situations (emergency housing, short rentals) and for something more long-term. You can even create exhibition stands and furniture, and anyone who has lugged tables and backdrops to a one-day event will see the benefit in something so light and portable. The finished items don’t exactly exude elegance, but like the video states, they can be customised. They would make a perfect solution to so many logistical situations.
